James is a born and bred Californian, born in Sacramento and has lived most of his life in the Sacramento region. After leaving the area for a four year tour in the US Navy and shorter stints in San Francisco and Florida, James has always returned home. Dealing with a few hot weeks a year seems a small price to pay for the natural beauty, agricultural abundance and limitless activity options the region has to offer.
James married another California native, his beautiful wife of six years, Barbara. James and Barbara have two energetic youngsters, two year old Max and 2 month old Lucy. Barbara is able to remain home and brave endless days of chasing a toddler allowing James the ability to concentrate on work. The Lyon family is living in and enjoying Sacramento and are currently attending City Life Church.
James has been working in Real Estate for several years, cutting his teeth in an extremely difficult market. His ability to negotiate deals with other agents as well as banks and lenders has allowed him to break into a business while others were running for the door. His attention to detail, fast response times and commitment to his clients has allowed him to build a mostly referral business in just a few short years.
